I’m based in the North West and cover everything from grassroots arts projects through to international brands. The majority of my work is in live events, music and corporate coverage. For me, approaching a shoot with a calm and open demeanour is really important.

Live Event Experience

From Manchester across the North West, I cover corporate events, conferences, trade shows and award ceremonies with photo and video. I work with a trusted crew of operators and photographers when needed. Together we deliver fast-turnaround edits, press release images and social-ready content so things don’t sit on a hard drive gathering dust.

I like to capture things as they happen. Keynote speakers on stage. Candid networking. Award winners at the right moment. It’s a documentary approach that makes events feel natural and engaging.

Alongside corporate work, I collaborate with Manchester orchestras including The Hallé, Manchester Collective, The Northern Film Orchestra and Manchester Camerata. It’s always a pleasure to show live music at its best.

Working With a Crew (or Solo)

Shoots are kept efficient and professional whether I’m on my own or part of a bigger team. I often take on producing roles too — organising, handling logistics and making sure everything runs smoothly once we’re live.

Over the years I’ve built up a network of collaborators, editors, DOPs, sound and lighting specialists. Projects can scale up without adding extra hassle.

Work has taken me far beyond the North West, with jobs across Europe and Asia. If I can get there with a flight and a hire car, I’m in.

Education & Mentorship

I also teach at Salford University, focusing on film and photography within the music industry. Students often join me on shoots for first-hand experience, and I run informal networking events in Manchester to connect freelancers, producers and creatives.
