I work as a camera operator across live events, performance and broadcast environments throughout the UK and internationally.

From large scale festivals and live streams through to orchestral sessions and studio performance work, I’m used to operating in fast moving, high pressure environments.

Creamfields 2025 – Hannah Laing (APEX Stage) · Handheld RF Operator — Sony FX3

Operated a Sony FX3 on RF for the live stream and multicam edit under a live director. I captured roaming coverage from artist close-ups to immersive crowd interaction that complemented fixed positions.

OneDa – Live from Low Four Studio · Camera Operator (Stage Right)


Operated the stage-right camera for a multicam studio session with gallery vision mixing. I captured artist close-ups and contextual stage coverage that anchored the live mix and supported the edit.

Creamfields 2025 – Ben Hemsley (APEX Stage) · Wide Camera Operator — Blackmagic URSA G2

Operated Camera 1 for the live stream and multicam edit under a live director. I covered wide stage shots through to medium close-ups of the artist, plus wide and close crowd atmosphere.

Souls of Mischief – Live at Low Four Studio · Camera Operator — Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro


I operated camera for the interview and performance session. Not live; edited and released on YouTube, including “93 ’til Infinity”.

GoGo Penguin – From the North: Live in Manchester (Old Granada Studios) · Camera Operator & BTS Photographer


I operated camera and captured behind-the-scenes stills for this studio performance at Old Granada Studios (now Versa Studio 4). My BTS pictures were featured in the band’s official live album release.

Creamfields North 2023 – Archie Hamilton (Runway Stage) · Camera 3 (45°) Operator

Operated Camera 3 at a 45° angle to the stage for the live stream and multicam edit under a live director. I covered tight close-ups of the artist and audience, adding depth to the broadcast alongside the wide shots.

FAQs

  • Yes. I am based in Manchester and I work worldwide.

  • Festivals, award ceremonies and live shows, including live interviews. Multicam, live stream and studio sessions.

  • Yes. I operate RF roaming when needed. I also cover live to screen IMAG and feed LED walls and relay screens.

  • Sony FX6 and Blackmagic URSA. I am comfortable on handheld, fixed and roaming positions, with talkback, tally and gallery comms.

  • Either. I can plug into your kit or supply bodies and support by request. Kit is priced on the brief.

  • Yes. I shoot BTS video and stills. Delivery and turnaround depend on the brief.

  • I hold a clean DBS. I can provide insurance details on request.
