Live Festival Camera Operator and Behind The Scenes Videographer – Creamfields 2025 UK

Creamfields is next level in terms of scale. It’s one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the UK.

Around 70,000 people across the weekend. This year I was working as a live festival camera operator, covering live stream and IMAG while also shooting behind the scenes photo and video content on the APEX tent with artists like Anyma, FISHER, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Hannah Laing, SOSA to name a few.

The reason for shooting the behind the scenes content, alongside for the use of the production, was to create a case study for Blackmagic Design. We were shooting on their kit across the weekend. Content which I was to later learn (on a packed dancefloor at the GMEX of all places) actually did really well. Funnily enough it still surprises me when I see work I’ve created appear in unexpected places.

‘Do it anyway’

It’s hard to explain the feeling of shooting from a stage with 30,000 people watching, it’s surreal and gives you a ton of new perspectives.

Capturing this shot of Hannah Laing’s hand during her set was a nice reminder that the details matter.

I won’t list too many highlights but Fisher ending on ‘Don’t look back in anger’ and seeing my shot live on the screen behind still gives me shivers. Check it out after the jump below.

Shooting with the best crew makes a huge difference to me, no egos, everyone on the same level doing their jobs well makes it so much easier.

AAA comes with a lot of responsibility. Big artists, big personalities. People don’t take much messing around at this level. I’ve seen people get kicked out for pushing boundaries. That’s not to say it’s not respectful, just knowing your lane and sticking to it goes down well.
